Katsuyuki Miyasaka, MD, PhDAnesthesiologist, Special Professor at St. Luke's International University, Tokyo
Dr. Miyasaka graduated from Shinshu University School of Medicine in 1969 and has since accumulated extensive medical experience worldwide.
He has worked in anesthesia and intensive care at institutions such as the National Children's Hospital Tokyo (NCCHD), the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
In 1976, he became a board-certified pediatrician in the United States.
Dr. Miyasaka continued his clinical work at Harvard University and the National Children's Hospital before returning to Japan, where he has held various positions such as Director of Nagano Children's Hospital and Vice Hospital Director, Special Professor and Special Advisor at St. Luke's International Hospital & University.
He is also actively involved in numerous medical societies in Japan, including the Japanese Society of Pediatric Anesthesiology, the Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine, contributing significantly to bridging medical practices between Japan and abroad.
Tomomoto Ishikawa, MD, PhD Urologist, CEO of Reproduction Clinic Osaka and Tokyo
Dr. Ishikawa is a leading expert in the treatment of male infertility, particularly in micro TESE surgery, with the highest number of procedures performed domestically. After graduating from medical school, he conducted research on male infertility at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine. Recognizing the disparity in the perception of male infertility
between Japan and overseas, he sought training abroad, conducting research at Rockefeller University in New York and receiving advanced training in male infertility treatment at Cornell University.
Upon returning to Japan, he focused on improving male infertility treatment at Kobe University Hospital but later moved to Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, to further enhance his expertise, particularly in micro TESE techniques.
Dr. Ishikawa travels across the country, performing micro TESE surgeries and providing guidance at infertility clinics nationwide.
In September 2013 and February 2017, he founded Reproduction Clinic Osaka and Reproduction Clinic Tokyo, respectively, pioneering the establishment of infertility clinics capable of simultaneously treating both male and female infertility, a practice common overseas but rare in Japan. The clinics are among the largest in Japan today.
